Spotted 5 monarchs at the big lake farm today. Winds strong, 20-30mph from the NW or West. All monarchs looked good and were feeding on late goldenrod and white flowered plants. Temps in 40s last night and a cool, but sunny week ahead for the late migrants.
Yesterday, my wife and daughter saw 3 monarchs near our house, all feeding.
Temps were 70s then and wind slight.
We still have one chrysalis to eclose, hopefully in the next day or two.
