Golf course crews have been cutting down weedy areas. I searched several patches of milkweed and found 8 cats - 5 seem to be 5th instar, one 4th and two 3rd. I took these home and will raze them until they are ready to set free. I also found one cat that was J hanging. I left that one where it was and hope for the best.
I am concerned that the 8 others would have been mowed to death.
I have eleven others that I razed from eggs all are now in chyrsalis.
