Had 4 ruby-throated hummers first thing this morning. 1 each on 4 different feeders at same time. Just put out fresh nectar and they were really stoking up. Couldn't tell if they were females or immatures. Yesterday evening 1 hummer didn't quit feeding until 7:20 pm. Quite a surprise as that was 3 minutes longer than the evening before for the last hummer at a feeder. These 4 look in good condition and appear to be gaining weight nicely. I expect all of the hummers to be gone from our yard in about 6-8 days.
