I am truly baffled. I have two hummingbirds that showed up at my house over one week ago and they haven't left. They continue to feed throughout the day from sun up to sun down. My regulars left long ago, around the 12th. I have had many just passing through daily, so why are these still here? It's easy for me to tell they are the same birds. Both females or juveniles and one is very chunky and one is very slender. This is a new one for me!
