Today between 9am - 4pm, netted, tagged and released 3 adult monarchs - all males. I managed to catch all I saw and did not see any more than the 3. It was a sunny day, with temperatures in the low 70s and a slight westerly wind. Definitely fewer monarchs today compared to the last few days.
