Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/27/2016

Number: 4

Still have four hummers left. Two I am sure are juveniles, one definitely a male. I'm also sure that they are the same two that I reported last week. They are both very conscientious about guarding their territories. One guards the front yard and the other guards the deck area in the rear of the house. Mostly they visit the feeders. However I have observed the one in the front continuing to nectar from my repeat blooming azalea, and the one in the back, and the other two hummers, nectaring from mandevilla, streptocarpella and Arabian jasmine plants.
