Over 160 monarchs sighted from 9/3 to 9/5 along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon by 12 citizen scientists of the Southwest Monarch Study. Many were worn and breeding monarchs. Two larvae sighted, four mating pairs, six ovipositing females reported. Tagged 63 fresh and new monarchs.
