Bald Eagle

Date: 09/24/2016

Number: 1

While kayaking during the Hudson River Ramble around the islands in the Hudson River at Troy, NY. Our group observed 2 mature eagles, one was perched in a tree allowing folks to take photos and the other flew away. Later we observed the eagle circling the water and trying to catch a fish. After 5 attempts, the eagle finally caught some lunch and flew away to enjoy it's reward.
