For days my adult female has eaten constantly. When I had met feeders down to clean and put new food in, my pretty lady stayed on my shepherd staff until I came out with the clean and fresh sold. She ate all day in 54 degree weather. She ate just about sun down. I encouraged her to leave. Will look closer tomorrow to see if hummingbird is a visitor from up north passing through. My last year diary said the last of my birds lefty by Sept 27, 2015. We are expecting cool rain all week. I will miss them. My beautiful female was my favorite ever. She did not just hover and quickly eat and lift off. She always landed, took her time eating, sometimes 5-6 minutes enjoying the scenery. Cheryl
