While working in the garden today, I watched as a beautiful,vivid and fresh monarch nectared on lantana and verbena bonariensis. It had been raining earlier in the day, but the sun finally made an appearance, along with the monarch. We have rain and cooler temperatures in the forecast for the next several days - not good flying weather.
