at 9:50 AM, one male basking and nectaring at rabbitbrush above the pond at Leonora Curtin Wetland preserve SW of Santa Fe. he was caught and tagged. last evening at 4:45 PM, saw two males at same spot, but cold not catch them. I chased one off the rabbitbrush and it flew up into a nearby Russian olive tree. Then the other male came along and the two flew off, apparently arguing about whose nectar patch it was.
