Our next door neighbor saw three monarch butterflies feeding together on her ageratum/blue mist flowers in their front yard. Coincidentally, we had (over the prior two weeks) been watching three monarch caterpillars feeding on our milkweed ...until they all disappeared about 9 days before the butterflies appeared next door. It's fun to think they may have come from our caterpillars, but wherever they came from, we're happy they showed up!
