Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/30/2016

Number: 13

I am seeing more every day for the last three weeks. All appear to be females or juveniles. A lot of fighting is going one. They are visiting hummingbird vine, purple sage, canna lilies, Mexican sunflowers and feeders. I always have about 12 feeders out in different areas of the yard, thinking it may give one a chance to dine before another discovers and chases it away. Weather is hot and dry here.
