On Friday 9/30 I was stuck inside at my desk working, and the window above my desk looks north- all day long I was seeing monarch butterflies pouring in from the north- some stopping to nectar, others heading south. Peak times for sightings were around 12pm to 2pm. Since I was working, I wasn't able to capture an accurate count, or # per hour, but did note that there was a constant stream of monarchs for multiple hours today. Weather was gorgeous, mild, with clear skies. Luckily tomorrow is Sat and I will be heading out to monitor to get pics and a better, more official count!
