Overcast, rainy, 57 degrees and my hummingbird guest appeared at 8:40 AM. She's nectaring on Lantana, Cuphea, Obedient Plants this morning, The feeders are still available throughout the habitat, red flags flying for migrators, and Cleone, Black and Blue Salvia, Zinnia Purple Prince, Fuschias are available in masses. A weigelia and a few yellow fox gloves are also offering second blooms. We're supposed to have rain throughout the weekend, with nicer weather beginning on Monday. Perhaps our l feathered jewel will tarry and linger until nicer weather arrives. She's robust in her appearance and appears to to happy and healthy.
