Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/01/2016

Number: 20

Large number of Monarchs in a native perennial garden. Particularly attracted to Gregg's Blue Mist-flower.

Also gobs of snouts too. Been going on for nearly two weeks. I noted a peak last Thursday September, 29th. A friend felt the peak was Wednesday. Definitely dropped of since. A cool front came thru dropping temps. My impression is that 2009 was a larger outbreak with a peak in late August or early September.
