It was a rainy morning, so I did not think that I would see a monarch today.

Then I drove north on Stinson road. The sun was out and it was around 1:30 PM when I saw the monarch flying low over the road and luckily off to the side as I drove by.

Our golden rod fields are starting to fade, purple asters are blooming beautifully.
