A mostly sunny day for a change here and the butterflies were celebrating in our gardens. A conservative estimate is 20 monarchs all nectaring and flying around each other. Also had many other species today: 5 large yellow sulphurs, 2 red admirals, 1 buckeye, 1 milbert's tortoiseshell, 1 giant swallowtail, lots of silver-spotted skippers and many cabbage whites.
