Saw two adults - looked kind of freshly hatched; one was feeding on wildflowers out back ... the other, unfortunately, was found struggling on the ground, with one wing that was all crumpled looking .. apparently it had not fully extended when that butterfly came out of its chrysalis. We were encouraged, in any event, that a fair number of Monarchs seemed to have grown up on our property (38 acres .. we spread Milkweed seeds every year).
