Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/03/2016

Number: 2

She was on her perch right before sunrise at 6:54 am. It was 62 degrees, wind NNW @ 4 mph. This was the third year she had visited my garden on her journey south. She spent her last hour on one of her favorite perches occasionally nectaring from flowers and feeders. I was able to get a picture right before she left at 8:15 am. Another hummer, she always chased, was finally able to nectar from the Vermillionaire flowers unchallenged. I last saw her at 9:36am. She also headed south...the wind was in their favor. Fly safe little ones.
