I put in a hummingbird/butterfly garden last year which includes 2 butterfly bushes. Last spring I also put in multiple large purple butterfly bushes that have grown huge. I'm seeing lots of butterflies and monarchs. I was surprised on a very windy day Sunday to see a Monarch "trying" to land on one of those bushes. Then it disappeared from sight. I took this photo last week I believe of another Monarch in my yard. I've only seen singles.
