Estimated size: 3-4" total wingspan, 3" body.

We suspect it was downed by rain. Found in wet grass. We gave it time to recover, but it was still there after an hour and we were afraid our large dogs would get it. I used a stick and a large mason jar to move it to a safe, dry, dog-free zone, where it was able to take off before I could even get a good picture of it. It immediately landed in our neighbors squash plant and rested there for a long time before taking off again. It seemed unharmed - just soggy and tired.
