*possible* solitary Monarch, at Simon Mine in Cedar Mtns Range, approx 30 mi NW of Tonopah, NV, about 11 AM. Can't swear it was Monarch - flitted by quickly and seemed to ignore plentiful yellow-flowering shrubs - area is pinyon/juniper - I was not swift enough with the binos to get good look but the size and coloring seemed about right
