Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/05/2016

Number: 1

Although I have mostly native perennials / host plants in my yard (including Asclepias syriaca and Asclepias tuberosa), a patch of annual zinnias is very popular with the butterflies. This Monarch sailed into my yard in early afternoon and enjoyed the zinnias for about a half hour before moving on.
