Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/05/2016

Number: 1

I was outside sweeping up the birdseed, when all of a sudden a Huge Monarch butterfly came by and stopped briefly to check out my flowers for nectar. His size told me that it had to be an adult. it was beautiful with it's big wings and colors. He stayed about 15 seconds, long enough for me to ask him if he was lost*:)) laughing he flew away beautifully, to catch up with his family*:( sad....Oh how I wish I had my camera. It was truly a beautiful sight, that we have not seen much of this year. Thank you Monarch for one lasting visit.
