Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/05/2016

Number: 40

Today the backyard was full of Monarchs. They were nectaring everywhere! The tithonia was covered with Monarchs, sometimes 2, even male and female would be sharing a bloom. No courtship or mating behaviors. All were intent on filling up for the next part of the journey, which most likely will happen on Friday when the winds are forecast to be from the north.
