Oct 6, 2016: Rosetta McClain Gardens report. A beautiful day at the park. Light south winds seemed to just drift a steady flow of monarchs into the gardens. 125 monarchs seen flying by the hawk watch. (also 1 peregrine falcon and 1 merlin!) 21 monarchs tagged on the day. Total for the year is at 953. Once again some very beautiful specimens today. Most are over weight and 1 was .70g....a big boy! Mexico bound! Good tagging Terry
