Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/06/2016

Number: 1

One RT hummer, looks like a juvenile male, visiting our feeder regularly the past four days. It's been very hot with south winds. Cold front expected tomorrow. This is the 89-th straight day we've seen hummers at our feeders this year (since July 10). It's the most active hummer season ever, perhaps because of the unusually warm Fall, but it started very early, too.
