A fresh-looking female flew through Monarch Meadow, roosted on my willow tree for a short while and then headed south. She may have been a product of Monarch Meadow as there is lots of evidence of "chomping" ~ several completely bare stalks on 3 varieties: tropical, whirled, and swamp. :)
