Around 2:30 in the afternoon I spotted one monarch at the Caney Fork Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had gone there looking for monarchs after an earlier report on your website stated that about 100 had been seen nectaring on the asters at this overlook the prior week. The one I spotted was also on the asters.
