Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/07/2016

Number: 20

I was out ahead dusk and noticed a monarch flitting around. Looked up to admire it and realized there were a dozen or more settling into the oaks for the evening! We have lots of Elkhorn Milkweed on our forty acres, but this is the first time I've ever noticed them roosting.
