Saw 12 Monarchs in about 90 minutes in my walk through Ironwoods Park on trails through pollinator fields (mostly goldenrod and aster). The butterflies were nectaring, and did not seem to be in a hurry. Earlier this week before the cold front came through, they had no interest in nectaring (flying fast and high). Clear skies and 69 degrees.
