I had two butterflies emerge from their chrysalises this morning close to my porch. Both were females and looked healthy. They were in the shade and it was quite cool so I moved them to a sunny spot, where they stayed for a while before taking off. Very windy, blowing out of the north and kind of cool in the 60's.
