One flying south in the park, about 11 am. Temp 65, wind light out of the west. I expected to see more yesterday with sunny skies and north winds, but did not see any. This Fall we did not have any days with a big wave of migration (up to 100/hr) like mid-September last year; it was a slow trickle of monarchs over many days, mostly battling unfavorable south winds.
