Four caterpillars were eating milkweek late September and just found two chrysalis and one caterpillar was hanging for 2 1/2 days, it was too cold for it to change, I brought it indoors and it formed it's chrysalis withing two hours. Other two should hatch into butterflies any day. I hope they make it.
