I am still in the habit of looking out the back window for Hummingbirds and I saw one coasting up into the tree. The Chickadee was there drinking out of the ant trap so I called my husband and we watched for about two minutes and this nice fat little female came back down. I tried to take pictures it didn't work. It was 6:35 p.m. and she decided to concentrate on the cuphea. It did get to have a drink afterwards. Last sighting was on Thursday the 5th around 8:30 a.m. Last year's last sighting was September 24.
