At 1:30 p:m a monarch floated into our gardens and spent about 10 minutes nectaring on a butterfly bush and then flew off in a SW direction. At 4 p:m a male monarch entered our
gardens and was also nectaring on butterfly bushes. He would sun himself on our cedar trees as well and re-position himself as needed to stay in the sun. He was last seen at 5:20 p:m high up in our oak tree where the sun was still warming him there. Monarch Waystation #13039
