We had our last sighting on Sept 20th. There were two at our feeders in the evening and never saw any since then. I guess they may have had their last drink early in the morning the next day and then started their journey south. Kept the feeder up for another week just in case some passersby could stop for a drink, but like other years didn't see any. I don't think we are on the main route south, if there is such a thing. It was a good summer with tons of activity and fights at our feeders. The most we ever saw at one time was four. Looking forward to next May.
