Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/11/2016

Number: 1

I thought our last little Ruby-throated Hummingbird had left yesterday on its migration journey, but it showed up on a feeder that we have at our kitchen window late this morning. It appears to be a juvenile female with lots of white on its throat and entire front feathers except for a scant amount of very dim stripes.
We had purchased a heated feeder several years ago, but had not put it out until yesterday. Today is supposed to be 81 degrees here, but followed by mid to low 60's the next few days.
