Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 10/13/2016

Number: 100

Today was perfect for migrating. Temps were in upper 70's with north wind at 8 mph. Sunny skies. I saw many monarchs and other butterfly species coming down from the beach. The roosts were gone, but I saw about 100 nectaring and flitting about. I believe there will be more coming in, but whether they roost or not remains to be seen!
