A few near house mostly in the morning. Two in the evening, see below.
At 1800 did the property loop. None outside groves. About 10 each in two groves at north ends. (Wind was from South.) Flushed easily from perches but stayed in shelter.
At 1900 back at house I saw one mating pair fly across in front of me and land in the large Live Oak tree next to the house, about 15 feet from the ground. I located them with binoculars after a few minutes, then took the attached photo. (With a flash and telephoto lens, then cropped.)
