While watering this evening at dusk, this monarch was nectaring on Zinnia. It eventual flew off and landed in a Mulberry tree. It turned upside down as if was going to roost. It fluttered further up the tree, I lost it but I never saw it fly out of the tree. In the photo his eyes reflected the flash and turned it red. lol. He looked healthy, plump, bright and happy.
