Maui West shore. I am vacationing with family on West Maui. We have been taking daily walks along Lower Honoapiilani Road in Kahana. On both Friday and Saturday I saw one adult flying around hibiscus and plumeria flowers along the road. I presume they were blown in from somewhere, since I doubt there is any milk weed growing on the islands, although I suppose conditions might be favorable at the 3000 foot level on Haleakala.
