After 10 days without seeing any, one lone hummer visited our feeder briefly this afternoon after morning rain. Definitely Ruby-throat, I think an adult female. She ate a few times, them continued on her journey. Winds were light out of the south, temp about 68. This is the latest in the season we have ever seen a hummingbird. We kept our feeder up and stocked with fresh suagr solution every 3-4 days, seeing JN reports of hummers to the north of us. We'll now keep it longer.
