Male monarch sighted about 2:20pm. Warm 72F, light wind heading South. Glimpsed it outside my dining room window next to nectar flowers but it was in flight and disappeared. I believe it was a male, veins were thin but it was bright orange, not dark brown (red) orange. I've been raising them for 45 years so I'm certain is was a monarch.
