Walked down stairs to beach area at Douglas Beach Park in Douglas, MI, and saw a large bird flying toward us overhead in southern direction. As it got closer, the unmistakable bald eagle features were visible. It perched itself atop a tree. We walked a little further along the beach to get a photo of it from its perched position.
