Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/17/2016

Number: 1

Another monarch bonus day in a fall where it seems that everyone gets to go to Mexico. The wind is rushing there today, going southwest in gusts of 26 mph. The prolonged summer-like weather is mixing monarchs with juncos in the backyard. This male survived the nearly inch of rain yesterday to rev up on nectar today.
