I went birdwatching between 1 and 3:30 PM and saw a female monarch sipping nectar from a Knapweed at Harrisville Harbor. She was there the whole 2 1/2 hours. There was a light rain shower at the beginning and then sunny with the temperature at 72F with the wind Southwest, then West, and finally Northwest at 10-18 mph when I left. NOTE: This is the latest I have seen a monarch in October before I saw some in the first week of November.
