At 3:42 pm I saw one male feeding on Lantana flowers. Windy day, Temp about 78 F, sunny. Male was actively feeding at intervals, and then flew very fast in circles around the area due to strong winds. There are butterflies at this time of the year in Michigan, and I hope these late butterflies will be good for increasing the size of the monarch overwintered grounds in Mexico.
