Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/18/2016

Number: 1

14:45, overcast, 23C, strong Southwest wind. At about transport truck height it was struggling to cross North Talbot Road but was being blown back. First Monarch we have seen since the roost report from Point Pelee National Park on October 8 (and we have been looking, going every weekend to Pelee) There are still lots of good native nectar sources. Rain later but better weather expected tomorrow. Better late than never! Let's hope the weather holds.
